October Live & Local shaping up!

Coming up in October we have a real treat, local bluegrass group ‘Ad Hoc’ as well as Melbourne duo 'Kevin Parsell & Maureen Beggs'.

Kevin and Maureen draw on a wide variety of folk styles and tunes from around the world. Joining Kevin and Maureen later in the evening will be banjo virtuoso Jim Golding. Jim is probably better known as a member of the highly entertaining ‘Coolgrass’ and is a wonderful exponent of all things banjo.

Kevin , Maureen and Jim have promised to bring with them some other Melbourne folk and we’ll see guitar, five string banjo, flute, bass, clarinet, whistle, fiddle and mandolin before the evening is out.

Ad Hoc are local musicians Mike Fenton, Herc Lathauras and friends. Always entertaining, Ad Hoc blend a mixture of folk, bluegrass and humor and will be well known to many at Irish Murphy’s.

October ‘Live and Local’ is the last day of October, Wednesday October 31st. Bring along some friends and enjoy a great night out.
