2010 GFMC update
LAST SUNDAY CONCERTS... Pencil in the last Sunday of every month until December 2010 as an evening of Folk Music entertainment at Irish Murphy’s Geelong. Our last Suday concerts are set to continue through 2010 with an added emphasis of club member involvement. The new format for Last Sunday concerts includes a MEMBER SHOWCASE where we hope to create opportunities for Folk Club Members to strut their stuff.

RedCat - Kerry, Rob and Mike have an enviable performance history between them. Since forming in 2008 they have played at many festivals and venues around Australia to rave reviews. Listeners can expect to hear music from Celtic favorites such as Mary Black, Luka Bloom, Dougie Maclean, Christy Moore, as well as some great original work. Lake School ramping up...
The eleventh Lake School of Celtic Music Song and Dance begins this Sunday January 3 2010 from 1.30pm. About 500 people are expected to flock to the Western District village of Koroit for the week long activities of learning and performing the many and varied celtic arts. Read more »»
